چکیده

We present a geometric framework to model the optical effects of deformations planar holographic elements (HOE) into curved surfaces, such as sphere segments. In particular, we consider which do not preserve Gaussian curvature.

Holographic Optical Elements for Holographic Stereogram Printers

A number of methods for producing holographic optical elements (HOEs) for use in projecting integral images in holographic stereogram printers are presented, with emphasis on application to Ultragram format one-step stereograms. Creation of HOEs to replace standard diffusion screens and enhance stereogram printer imaging properties and efficiency is discussed. Monolithic and integral holographi...

Holographic Optical Elements and Application

Holographic optical element has a high diffraction efficiency and a narrow-band frequency characteristic, and it has a characteristic that is able to implement several features in a single flat device. It is widely applied in various fields. In this chapter, the principle and characteristics of the holographic optical elements are described in detail, and few typical holographic optical element...

A Revision of Geometric Training of Architects from Islamic View

This article is about value-based foundations of internalizing of geometry in young students of architecture. Training of geometry has long been an important part of architectural education that can be pursued back up to ancient Egypt and Babylon. But in modernity it has passed a radical change from a sacred one to a value-free job. But more precise look will show that this value-free claim has...

Integral Estimation from Point Cloud in R: a Geometric View

Integration over a domain, such as a Euclidean space or a Riemannian manifold, is a fundamental problem across scientific fields. Many times, the underlying domain is only accessible through a discrete approximation, such as a set of points sampled from it, and it is crucial to be able to estimate integral in such discrete settings. In this paper, we study the problem of estimating the integral...
